Author Ben Courson says we don’t have to fear the coronavirus, because we know as Christians that we won’t die until God ordains for us to do so. Nevertheless, it’s still important for us to take responsible steps toward staying safe, such as by staying at home and washing hands often.
“God is bigger than the coronavirus,” Courson says. “Fear of the coronavirus is more lethal to the spirit than COVID-19 could possibly be to the body. I want to encourage you that you are indestructible until God calls your number. Death is not an accident; it’s an appointment. … If you’re fearful and worried, it’s because your view of God is too small.”
