With a new year comes the release of new faith-based content: inspirational stories shining bright at time when the nation needs it most. People are hurting, confused, angry and saddened. And yet in the midst of it, the Lord’s goodness and redemption can be found in the storytelling industry.
Most notably is the upcoming release of Redeeming Love, based on Francine Rivers’ book of the same name. The inspirational storyline has biblical roots in the book of Hosea, portraying a mid-1800s young woman who was sold into prostitution as a child but as later discovers the Lord’s power to heal and redeem.
