A recent prophetic message by Gabe Poirot is sounding the alarm for believers who are discerning the times and seasons for 2026.

In the video, Poirot explains that while he was praying and seeking the Lord about the year 2026, he was repeatedly drawn to Scripture—specifically John 20:24–26, the moment when the resurrected Jesus appears to the disciples eight days after Thomas first doubted His resurrection. “Eight days later, the disciples were together again… Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them,” the passage reads.

Poirot says the Lord impressed upon him that this verse carried prophetic weight for 2026—not as a prediction of a specific date for Christ’s return, but as a revelation that His presence would be “among” His people in a profound and tangible way. “This will be the year that I will be among them,” Poirot claims the Lord spoke to him.

Poirot repeatedly clarifies that no one knows the day or hour of Christ’s return. However, he emphasizes that 2026 could be a year marked by divine convergence—an intensified awareness and manifestation of God’s presence. “It could be the year He returns,” he says. “But even if He doesn’t, it may be the year where you finally encounter His presence.”

To reinforce this call to spiritual readiness, Poirot cites John 6:26–27, where Jesus warns against pursuing temporary, earthly provision while neglecting eternal life. He cautions that distraction may cause many to miss what God is doing in this season. “A lot of people are distracted… and you might just miss the very presence of Christ that wants to encounter you,” he says.

Poirot also explores the significance of the number 26, which in Hebrew tradition is associated with the sacred name of God. Poirot notes that the numerical value tied to God’s revealed name adds to the sense that 2026 may be prophetically aligned with divine revelation, covenant and presence. “It’s not just a symbol,” he says. “It represents His very personhood.”

Drawing parallels to Exodus 3, where God reveals Himself to Moses at the burning bush, Poirot suggests that 2026 could be a year of restoration—one in which God “comes down” to bring His people back to Himself. “What if this could be the year of restoration?” he asks.

No matter what specific events come our way in 2026, Poirot gives a clear exhortation: seek Him now. “Blessed are those who believe without seeing.” For those with ears to hear, the call is unmistakable—prepare, awaken and respond to what God may be doing in this pivotal hour.
