What do the colors of the four horsemen of Revelation stand for? This is one of the questions biblical prophecy experts are trying to determine right now. On a recent episode of The End Time Show, Vince Stegall and Doug Norvell tackled this particular discussion head-on.

They dissected the argument that the colors of the Palestinian flag—white, black, red and green—correspond to the four horsemen, with each color representing a modern political or religious system. “We believe the white horse represents Catholicism,” Norvell said, citing the church’s historical influence and its role in “quieting God’s Spirit.”

Red, he believes, aligns with communism or socialism; black with capitalism; and green, the pale horse, with Islamism. The pair also disagreed with the notion that the Hamas attack fulfilled Revelation 12. “Hamas does not represent the dragon in Revelation 12,” Norvell said. “The dragon is not just simply that spirit that drives that one world government and drives the enemies of Israel. It is actually Satan himself.”

From a different perspective, Jonathan Cahn emphasizes the unfolding of God’s historical and prophetic patterns. As Charisma previously reported, he explained that the prophetic sign of the four horsemen can be seen in today’s world in the Palestinian flag.

“When you look at Revelation, you see the colors are there; the colors of the Apocalypse are the Four Horsemen or the riders and the Four Horsemen,” Cahn said. “And the Apocalypse ultimately converges on Israel in Armageddon in the end … of course, you have the white horse; then you have the red horse, symbolizing war; then you have the black horse with famine and want; then you have the pale green horse, which is death.”

These colors, as Cahn noted, are evident in the Palestinian flag, which connects to both Israel and the horrific Oct. 7 attacks launched by Gaza.

“All this hatred for Israel was done in the name of a flag… the flag of Palestine… white, red, black and green,” Cahn stated.

Both parties converge on a key point: prophecy must be interpreted with care and grounded in Scripture. As both sources make clear, understanding biblical prophecy requires patience and discernment from the Holy Spirit.
