Jonathan Cahn, bestselling author and prophetic voice, returned to Israel after a two-and-a-half-year absence, standing at the very locations where the horrific Oct. 7, 2023, tragedies unfolded. “I’m standing on the place where it all began,” he said, describing the moment as both sobering and necessary for understanding the spiritual and historical context of Israel today.

While traveling across Israel, Cahn paused to address a troubling trend he sees not only in the Middle East but also in the United States: the resurgence of anti-Semitism. “Why is it that the Jewish people are always hated and waged against from every generation?” he asked. From ancient times to the Holocaust, from medieval Europe to modern conflicts, he explained, “It’s always there. The names change, the reasons change, but it’s always evil.”
Cahn pointed to the Bible as revealing the root of this hatred. God created the Jewish people to fulfill His purposes—to bring the world His Word, the knowledge of salvation, and ultimately, the Messiah. “All the forces of hell are going to be warring against the Jewish people to destroy them, to stop them, to eradicate them,” Cahn warned. He cited the vision in Revelation of a dragon waging war against the woman with twelve stars, a symbol of Israel giving birth to the Messiah.
The prophetic message hit closest to home as Cahn addressed the Nova Festival massacre, where Hamas militants brutally murdered young Jewish attendees. “All this here? This is where it ends up,” he said, emphasizing the deadly consequences of hatred, conspiracy theories, and anti-Semitic rhetoric. He called out public figures who propagate false narratives against Jews, stating that these actions feed a “satanic” agenda.
Cahn stressed Christians’ responsibility to reject hatred and stand with God’s purposes. “If you call yourself a Christian…you cannot love the king of the Jews and hate the Jews of the king,” he said, referencing Yeshua, or Jesus. He warned that participating in anti-Semitic conspiracies or rhetoric aligns one with “an ancient fire” of darkness that ultimately brings destruction.

Yet, amid the darkness, Cahn offered a message of hope. Despite 4,000 years of opposition, Israel endures. “The God of Israel lives, the Messiah of Israel lives, the hope of Israel lives,” he declared. He urged viewers to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, to stand with God’s light and to bless rather than curse Israel.
“Those who stand with God will live, and those who oppose Him will be vanquished. In the end, the darkness will not prevail, but the light will overcome all things.”
