Christians throughout the world recognize Jesus’ baptism as one of the most significant events in Scripture as well as one that showcases the three persons of the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. But what prophetic significance does this have?
Hosts Savannah Simpson Sepulveda and Eric Sepulveda explore this topic on The School of Prophetic Knowledge podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. “When we are baptized by water and the Spirit, we become a new creature, remade in the likeness of God,” says Eric. “This was an extremely important event, showcasing the Trinity in communion with each other.
“What happened afterwards further demonstrated the importance of recognizing how we are all made three in one,” he says. “Every Christian is aware of the temptations that Satan subjected Christ to after 40 days fasting in the wilderness, but not everyone wants to look under the surface as to why he was tempted in these ways.”
“Those who are more experienced and recognizing the prophetic properties of numbers will instantly spot that there are three different temptations,” Savannah points out.
And Eric adds, “If you listen to our future episodes, you will know that the number three has several prophetic properties, all related to completeness, wholeness or perfection.”
