During a corporate time of prayer with my church, praying for peace over the cities throughout the United States of America in the midst of recent tragedies, protests and riots, I had a vision that was a promise and a warning from the Lord for the church and the platform.
In the vision, I saw the steady rain of peace falling from heaven to earth. It started as a steady flow from heaven, but it was growing stronger and stronger and heavier until the whole earth was saturated with the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ!
This peace was washing away the debris, the dirty and the distractions. It was a beautiful and refreshing sight! However, there was also a cleansing and exposing simultaneously taking place, separating true believers from false believers and the sleeping church from the awakened church.
There was then a flood that was flowing across the churches throughout America separating those who were sleeping and not ready from those who were awake and prepared.
The Lord showed in this vision that there are churches and ministers that are operating in deception, pride and in fear, and that when the flood comes through, if they do not repent and remain in deception, fear and pride, they will not reopen.
Those in ministries with large platforms and congregations who think that their fans, followers and titles and their pleasing man versus pleasing God mentalities are going to continue to elevate them higher and wider will find their platforms crumbled to debris. Their numbers may be large, but their fruit is in short supply, and God will not be mocked.
“For such are false apostles and deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works” (2 Cor. 11:13-15).
The Lord is giving this prophetic warning and promise right now, a warning to a sleeping church to wake up! A warning to pastors operating out of fear and manipulation and selfish desires to become right and to turn and to repent while there is time. There will be a day where the doors will be closed, and the day is quickly approaching.
“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to be renewed once more to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and subject Him to public shame. For land that drinks in the rain that often falls upon it and bears a crop useful to those for whom it is cultivated receives a blessing from God. But land that bears thorns and thistles is rejected and near to being cursed. Its destiny is to be burned” (Heb. 6:4-8).
However, the churches and ministers who carry the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the gospel of peace and truth without fear, and with simple obedience will usher in the revival that is coming as this flood approaches. And the platforms of those who are true believers of Christ who are willing to speak the truth and not compromise platforms will see a supernatural increase of opened doors.
Do not look at fans, followers, numbers or accolades for measurement. Be faithful with what is given, and the Lord will bless, honor and use those who seek the peace that only comes from Jesus in supernatural and abundant ways.
There is a promise, and that promise is for the remnant. That promise is for the church without compromise, for the believers who are willing to stand up for truth and obey God!
“Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he is tried, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” (James 1:12).
Just as in the Parable of the Talents, when the talent was taken away from the one who hid out of fear and greed, unwilling to use what God gave him and took for granted what he had, and was given to those who did everything God required, who took what the Lord gave them and multiplied and was not fearful but went out and did what God called them to do, so shall it be when the true ministers and servants of God are separated from the false ones. The distractions and chaos of those who thrive on popularity, fame and fortune will bow down to the name and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ. The peace of Jesus brings clarity and light to every heart, so use this precious time to repent, reset and rededicate hearts back to the Prince of Peace while there is still time.
“Look, I am coming quickly. Hold firmly what you have, so that no one may take your crown” (Rev. 3:11).
This is the time, my brothers and sisters in Christ! Who will take courage and believe God’s promises and heed His warnings? Who will call and embrace His peace forth from heaven and allow it to cleanse and heal?
The Father is waiting, the rain and flood is coming, and that is the promise and the warning for the church and the platform. {eoa}
