Just because something is prophetic doesn’t mean it’s a weird dream or vision that can be hard to decipher.
“When we hear from God, it affects our practical life, not just our super-spiritual side of our life,” Shawn Bolz says.
For business leaders, household leaders, ministry leaders and more, understanding the prophetic can be critical to healthy relationships.
“If you don’t have a good conflict model, if you don’t have a good leadership model, you’ll revert to whatever you have with your parents or your first church experience,” Bolz says. “It’s because that was your primary caregiver relationship your first time around. And so that’s what will define you unless you learn, and one of the things that the Holy Spirit does when we invite Him into our lives is He becomes our Counselor, our coach, our teacher, our rabbi of our heart. And so it creates in each of us an ability to go on a journey to really, really learn.”
