How Prophecy Is Igniting a Trail of Hope Across This Landmark State

The Arkansas state capitol was the first to fly the Appeal to Heaven flag. Now, a revival is breaking out across the state.

A faith-filled movement rumored to have been prophesied by Corrie ten Boom is igniting revival and inspiring hope across Arkansas.

“Corrie ten Boom is said to have been flying over Arkansas when she looked down and asked where they were,” says apostle Clay Nash. ” … I see a great move of God coming over there and affecting the nation.”

And so Nash and other leaders are following the Holy Spirit from “Hope to higher ground.” Other prophets, including Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets, have been involved in the movement as well.

The Trail of Hope is a 12-month traveling revival. The ToH team is going from one point of Arkansas to another, witnessing healings and miracles at each location.

In Mount Magazine, for example, someone received a prophetic word about an increase in angelic activity, releasing angels to find things that have been lost.

For Nash’s ministry, a set of blueprints missing for 11 years was suddenly found in a storage closet. Another young man lost his wallet at a fair, but later he found it under a pile of his clothes.

With each prophetic word, Nash says the gathered are careful to judge and implement them. In Mount Magazine, a word was given comparing evangelists to timber cruisers, that is, people who scout a forest to determine how to proceed.

“God spoke in Mount Magazine, anointing people there to become timber cruisers to mark those ready for harvest, because we believe a great harvest is coming.”

While Arkansas is currently the only state in which Nash and his ministry are operating, he expects them to travel around the Southeast in the future. Next April, he wants to start a Trail in Mississippi and is also looking at Tennessee.

Since the start of the Trail, the spiritual climate of Arkansas has gone from hot to very hot.

“There is hunger, movement, more signs and wonders and moving of the Spirit as a result of [the Trail of Hope],” Nash says. “We hope other leaders across the nation will pick up on it and move in. But we feel every one of [the Trails] needs to be designed for that state culture.”

As for Arkansas, Nash is forging ahead.

Nash says at each city, they will gather rocks to deposit in the next location, emulating Joshua 24:27: “Joshua said to all the people, ‘See, this stone will be a witness for us, for it has heard all the words of the Lord that He spoke to us. It will be a witness for us, lest you deny your God.'”

And thus is the Trail of Hope.
