In a sobering conversation filmed from Sydney, Australia, worship leader Sean Feucht and Pastor Andrew Sedra warned that the West is standing at a spiritual crossroads—and that what’s happening in major cities is more than politics.
“I know the news and the media and the propaganda and all this stuff says one thing,” Feucht said as he opened the episode. “But our heart…is to share with you God’s perspective on the current events, how He’s moving, and what’s taking place around the world.”
Feucht soon got into the conversation with Sedra as the two looked at a clip from Times Square of an Islamic prayer-time takeover. “This is literally a few days after you left New York,” Feucht said.

Sedra, an Egypt-raised Christian leader now based in Australia, didn’t mince words. “It’s happening. It is spiritual and political domination,” he said. “As they are fasting and praying in Ramadan, they are releasing the spirit of Allah, which is a spirit of violence, sexual deviancy, and bloodthirst over New York.”
Sedra then framed New York’s political shift as a prophetic warning. “New York is the blueprint and…the prophetic warning from the Lord,” he said. “If Christians do not pick their game up…fight for the faith…stop playing churchianity.”
Still, Sedra emphasized the answer isn’t panic—it’s repentance and action. “We are the cultural guardians,” he said. “I want to create a kingdom culture…people…go to the culture and change it, confront it, transform it.”
In a moment marked by cultural upheaval and spiritual confusion, this is not the hour for retreat—it is the hour for resolve. The church was never called to shrink back in fear, but to shine brighter when darkness grows loud. Scripture reminds us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces—and that means our response must be rooted in prayer, truth and unwavering obedience to Christ.
No matter how intense the cultural storm becomes, Jesus is still on the throne—and the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church.
