As the end of the year approaches, many Christians look for renewal, clarity, and fresh hope as we head into a new season. In a recent prophetic word, apostle John Eckhardt released a prayer over December 2025, calling it a month marked by blessing, breakthrough, and divine refreshing.
Eckhardt opened by thanking God “for another month” and declaring gratitude for “the days that You’ve given us” and for the gift of being “alive and living and breathing and enjoying Your presence.” He prayed for God’s direction, saying, “In all of our ways acknowledge You, and You would direct our paths.”

Throughout the prayer, he emphasized revival and breakthrough, saying, “I pray for revival and glory to come into our cities, into our neighborhoods, into our regions, into our nations.” He also prayed for God to pour out His Spirit in a “new way,” adding that this month will reveal God’s “glory, Your splendor, Your beauty, Your majesty, Your power in new ways.”
Eckhardt spoke directly to those seeking personal transformation, praying, “Let our joy be full. Let Your joy be upon us. Let us have gladness and joy.” He also declared freedom from oppression, saying, “I bind all spirits of strife, division, jealousy, anger, hatred, double-mindedness, confusion.”
He encouraged believers with God’s promise of renewal, declaring that December 2025 will be known as “a month when the hammer comes, and it begins to break in pieces the rocks” that have blocked growth and progress. He prophesied that “new prosperity and new increase shall be your portion,” and called it “a reward month and a reward season” for those who have prayed, sacrificed, and remained faithful.
The prophetic word also highlighted restoration for those who felt spiritually weary. Eckhardt said God will “release a new fresh word, and a new fresh wind shall blow upon you. And you’ll find yourself refreshed… restored in this hour.”
