In a recent video message, Christian speaker and evangelist Alwyn Uys shared a prophetic word that has been stirring in his spirit for days—one that he believes will bring clarity and encouragement to many who feel restless in their current season.
Uys described a vivid dream in which he walked into a house and entered a room filled with people. In the dream, these individuals began to grow—not in weight, but in physical size—while the room remained the same. As they expanded, they began to press up against the walls, unable to contain their new size.

“The place that they are in was too small for how God is expanding them,” Uys explained. “And I knew this was a word from the Lord—many people are feeling this same pressure in the spirit.”
He likened the sensation to wearing clothes that are too tight, creating a restrictive, uncomfortable feeling. According to Uys, this discomfort is not a sign of failure or misalignment, but rather an indication that God has been growing, maturing and stretching His people—and now the environment they’re in no longer fits who they’ve become.

“This is a season of stretching out your tent pegs,” Uys declared, referencing Isaiah 54:2: “Enlarge the place of your tent… Do not spare. Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.” He emphasized that stepping into expansion requires faith—the courage to stop holding back and to take bold steps forward into what God is calling you to next.
He also drew from 1 Chronicles 4:10, the well-known prayer of Jabez: “Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory…” Just as God answered Jabez’s prayer, Uys encouraged viewers to ask boldly for enlargement, believing that God desires to bless and lead them into greater purpose.
“It’s time to leave the place of confinement,” he said. “God wants to take you somewhere where you will fit—where you can stretch your wings and no longer be held back by systems, people, workplaces or even religious environments.”
Uys acknowledged that stepping out of a familiar or comfortable place is often difficult, but obedience to God’s prompting is essential. “If you’ve been feeling that straight-jacket pressure, it’s a sign. It’s time to fly. It’s time to go.”
He ended with a heartfelt prayer that this word would be a confirmation for those who have been battling frustration and waiting for clarity. His message is simple but deeply prophetic: God is expanding you, and it’s time to move into the space that matches the growth He has already done in your life.

“Take the leap,” Uys said. “You’ve outgrown the room. Now it’s time to move into everything God has for you.”
