Prophetic voice Kim Clement was known for the accuracy of his prophecies, many of which did not come to pass until after his death. Now, his daughter, Donné Clement Petruska, is sharing the remarkable word she received after he passed away.
In a recent livestream, Petruska discussed how her father was prophesied over by Roger Teal when he was a young worship leader in South Africa. Petruska says Teal gave a specific word to her father about where he would live, and even that he would have his final days on earth on the West Coast of the U.S. Now, she is sharing the prophetic word that she received from Teal upon her father’s passing.
“[Kim Clement] was hungry. He was hungry for the Word of the Lord, wanted to be used by God, extremely talented and as a result, God took that…and God used him significantly,” Teal says.

Teal noted that Clement was sovereignly chosen by God to be used as a prophet, unlike many today who have raised themselves up as prophets. Teal also told Petruska that there is a special anointing upon her life to continue to share these remarkable words of her father’s with the world.
“Your father is no longer here, and your endeavors to share the love, the words, counsel all that you know of him…that anointing that’s on your life is the sovereign purpose of God. That God’s Word will be extended and spoken through your lips,” Teal says to Petruska.
“I was not expecting him to say that,” Petruska recounts.
“So where does that place you?” Teal says in the video. “It places you at the time in the days in which we live today where there is seriously a famine for a true word from the Lord.”
How true Teal’s statements are. In a time when many voices clamor for attention and countless individuals declare themselves prophets, the legacy of Kim Clement stands as a sobering reminder of what it means to carry a true, God-ordained prophetic mantle. His life and ministry were marked by accuracy, humility and a relentless hunger for the Word of the Lord. Now, as his daughter steps forward to carry the flame, the prophetic words entrusted to her affirm a divine continuation—not of personal ambition, but of a calling rooted in truth and accountability.
In this spiritual drought, the importance of credible, Spirit-led prophecy cannot be overstated. It is not enough to have a platform; the prophetic voice must be anchored in divine commissioning and truth. The weight of such a calling is not inherited lightly, but through obedience and surrender to God’s purpose.
God is still speaking—and He is raising up those who will speak His Word with integrity, humility and faithfulness.
