God is still in the business of doing miracles today.
At Bethel Church, the supernatural is not only embraced but often experienced in profound and awe-inspiring ways. One of the most fascinating phenomena to capture attention is the appearance of a “glory cloud”—a swirling mist filled with gold dust that has been witnessed during services.

In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, Bethel’s senior leader, Bill Johnson, gave details on this cloud of glory, and how the presence of God was seen through this unprecedented miracle.
“This cloud would come, and it was like glitter,” Johnson says. “We called it gold dust…one person took the gold flake and had it examined and it was the purest form of gold they could find. Another person took the dust and had it examined scientifically, and it was mica, it was a mineral.”
Johnson says that the cloud eventually started to appear earlier and earlier, until it finally would show up at the very beginning of the meeting.
“Sometimes it was almost smoky,” Johnson says. “One time, it started in this corner of a room, it’s kind of swirling and it just exploded and went throughout the room. There was no explosion as far as noise, but it just was all through the room from front to back.”

While it is a mystery to Johnson as to why the glory of God was manifesting in this way, it is truly a real-life miracle. He shares that while miracles and signs can be tempting to worship, the true heart of the church remains grounded in honoring Jesus Christ, the source of all supernatural activity.
As Bethel continues to experience the power of God in remarkable ways, Johnson’s message is undeniable: God is moving in miraculous ways, and believers are being invited to step into their divine purpose.
