The White House released an article celebrating the Trump administration’s wins for Christianity, calling President Trump “a fierce defender of the Christian faith.”

“From his first day back in office, President Trump has made protecting people of faith a cornerstone of his Administration,” the article reads. “Under his leadership, the U.S. is once again a beacon of religious liberty — honoring the biblical values and heritage that built our nation.”

Several of the Trump administration’s wins include creating the White House Faith Office, a task force to combat anti-Christian bias, pardoning pro-life activists, mandating enforcement of the Hyde Amendment, removing the ban on disaster relief for faith-based entities, and many other successes.

In discussing how Christians have been protected globally, the article described the administration’s move to end the funding of gender ideology and abortion overseas, delivered humanitarian aid to persecuted Christian communities, and responded to Christian persecution, among other actions.

The article concluded by declaring that “faith is not a private matter to be silenced by government — but a foundational strength of our Republic,” and emphasized the Trump administration’s efforts to restore religious freedom, protect innocents, and ensure that the nation will “always remain one nation under God.”

Further honoring Christianity, President Trump celebrated the “most glorious miracle in all of time.” Describing the life of Christ, Trump said He “displayed true humility. In His death, He modeled true love. And in His Resurrection from the tomb, He proved that even death itself will not silence those who place their trust in Almighty God.”

“To be a great nation you must have religion, and you must have God,” Trump declared.

In a separate written statement, the White House said that the “life of Jesus Christ and the truths of the Gospel have inspired our way of life and our national identity for 250 years,” adding that the “love of Christ has unfailingly guided our Nation through calm waters and dark storms.”
