Terrorist group Boko Haram is suspected to be behind a suicide bombing in Potiskum, Nigeria, this morning.
The bomb exploded in a boys’ school, killing 47 and wounding another 79, according to the BBC.
Boko Haram rose to notoriety earlier this year with the kidnapping of 300 Nigerian school girls.
Police spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu told the BBC, “At about 08:00am [07:00 GMT], a suicide bomber disguised himself as one of the male students and while the school was holding its normal assembly, the bomb went off.”
