Funeral arrangements for Voddie Baucham have officially been announced.
On Facebook, Voddie Baucham Ministries announced that his service would take place next Friday, Oct. 10 at 10:00 a.m. CST. The post read:
A Special Funeral Service honoring the life and ministry of Dr. Voddie Baucham Jr. will be held:
Friday, October 10, 2025

Baucham passed away at the age of 56 on Sept. 25, with his ministry announcing his unexpected death on social media.
“Earlier today, after suffering an emergency medical incident, he entered into his rest and the immediate presence of the Savior whom he loved, trusted, and served since he was converted as a college student,” the ministry wrote.
Baucham’s daughter, Jasmine Holmes, also shared her grief online, stating that, “Nothing can prepare you for losing your dad.”
“For me, it’s not ‘all of our godly preachers are dying’ or ‘I sure will miss his powerful voice for Jesus.’ For me? I just miss my daddy,” Holmes wrote.
