Johnson further notes that the people of faith have a duty to speak the truth.
“We have the responsibility to speak truth,” says Johnson. “We have the responsibility to use whatever measure of favor we have for God’s interest, for His glory, for His honor…it really isn’t about a political campaign as much as it is fighting for the heart of our state. It’s just being brutalized.”
Johnson says for those who have a platform, it is their duty to use it to for the good.

“If I don’t use the platform, the time, the position that I have, the favor I have, if I don’t use it, who’s going to?”
Johnson’s endorsement of Ahn is a reminder that Christians can no longer sit on the sidelines of society and expect everything to work out for the good. If we desire to see real changes take place in our world, we must be the light in the darkness that God has called us to be for his glory.
