Wauwatosa Police arrested a 15-year-old Hispanic male in Friday’s Mayfair Mall shooting that injured eight people, according to a press conference with Chief of Police Barry Weber. Seven adults and one teenager were injured in the incident.
Police also recovered the firearm used in the shooting.
Weber stressed that the act was not random and took place after an “altercation” between two groups, which he did not identify.
“There were four innocent bystanders that received non-life-threatening injuries during this incident,” according to Weber’s written statement.
