Israel has called out a U.N. aid failure that continues to escalate the crisis in Gaza. According to the Israeli agency COGAT, “there are thousands of pallets of humanitarian aid already inside Gaza, waiting to be picked up and distributed… Instead of publishing statements about ‘Gaza needing more aid,’ aid can be collected and distributed.”
Despite repeated claims of aid shortages, the United Nations and partner organizations have failed to retrieve and distribute these supplies. U.N. spokesperson Eri Kaneko blamed a “restrictive operational environment” for the delays, claiming “many [aid missions are] either denied outright or obstructed.”

The U.S.- and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) pushed back. “No one is limiting the U.N.’s ability to deliver aid—certainly not GHF,” said a spokesperson. “The real problem is not access. It’s execution… their trucks are consistently looted, hijacked, or overrun by Hamas, armed gangs, or desperate civilians.”

While U.N. officials complained about a fuel shortage, COGAT revealed that over 66,000 gallons of fuel had already entered Gaza. “So, either get updated or stop spreading lies,” COGAT fired back at U.N. Under-Secretary-General Tom Fletcher.
The GHF, despite criticism, has delivered more than 76 million meals. “Each delivery reflects the bravery and dedication of our aid workers,” said GHF Interim Executive Director John Acree.

With aid stockpiled, fuel delivered, and U.N. excuses mounting, the facts point to a logistics failure, not a blockade.
