The U.S. House of Representatives recently condemned the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement and affirmed its support of Israel. Only 17 members voted against the pro-Israel resolution.
This resolution came in response to a pro-BDS resolution that Reps. Rashid Tlaib and Ilhan Omar proposed last week.
“In the midst of the rising tide of anti-Semitism in America in a very real way … there has been great concern as some of the House of Representatives—elected governing officials—have come out with blatantly anti-Semitic comments,” says Dr. Michael Brown on his “The Line of Fire” podcast.
Brown says the BDS movement is really an attempt to delegitimize Israel, pointing to a type of anti-Israel hatred that will fill many in the end times.
