In a move already reshaping diplomatic realities in the Middle East, President Donald Trump is expected to announce the formation of a new international Gaza Board of Peace during this month’s World Economic Forum in Davos.
According to multiple reports, the board will be chaired by President Trump himself and include roughly 15 world leaders, along with a technocratic committee of Palestinian experts who will temporarily manage Gaza’s daily affairs.
Some of the potential board members include:
- Former United Nations envoy Nickolay Mladenov
- Former United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair
- Current British Prime Minister Keir Starmer
This “board of peace” is part of Phase Two of Washington’s ceasefire and reconstruction plan for Gaza, which is now underway.
Some of the nations that are likely to be part of the board include:
- United Arab Emirates
- Qatar
- Egypt
- Germany
- Italy
The first meeting of the board of peace could occur at the World Economic Forum hosted in Davos at the end of January.
A Prophetic Pattern: Peace Plans, Global Coalitions and the Biblical Timeline
Whenever world leaders gather around the table to negotiate Middle Eastern peace, Christians must take notice. Scripture repeatedly places Israel, Jerusalem and the surrounding territories at the center of end-time geopolitical convergence.
The prophet Zechariah declared that in the last days the nations would seek to “burden themselves with Jerusalem” (Zech. 12:3), and no region on earth has been more relentlessly contested than the one currently under negotiation.

The apostle Paul warned that “when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them” (1 Thess. 5:3). The issue has never been that peace is undesirable — Christians long for peace — but instead that Scripture warns of a false peace, a deceptive peace and ultimately a manipulated peace that sets the stage for the coming global ruler, the Antichrist.
Daniel prophesied that this leader would “confirm a covenant with many” (Dan. 9:27) — a phrase long discussed as a potential peace agreement between Israel and surrounding nations.
For the first time in modern history, the world is watching as multiple nations, technocrats, diplomats and global institutions enter the governance equation of Israel’s borders. Peace deals are no longer bilateral or even trilateral — they are becoming multinational, and increasingly administrative.
The Bigger Picture: Why Believers Should Pay Attention
No one can say whether the Gaza Board of Peace is the prophetic covenant Scripture points to — or simply one stepping stone among many — but what is undeniable is that we are witnessing the rapid normalization of prophetic categories:
- global cooperation around Israel
- international governance of disputed land
- technocratic political structures
- peace frameworks involving “many”
- the world’s fixation on Jerusalem and surrounding territories
These developments should not spark fear, but discernment. Jesus Himself warned believers to “watch and pray” (Mark 13:33), and the purpose of prophecy has always been preparation, not panic.
The stage is being set. The actors are taking their positions. And once again, the biblical narrative is proving itself more accurate than the headlines that scramble to keep up with it.
