The tension between the United States and Iran has reached a pivotal point. As diplomatic efforts continue behind closed doors, a clearer picture has emerged of what President Donald Trump is demanding from Tehran.
According to Open Source Intel on X, Trump has made five serious demands that Iran must meet.
1. Eliminate Enriched Uranium Stockpiles
One of the central demands is that Iran transfer its stockpile of enriched uranium. This stockpile is to be given to the United States.
2. Dismantle Key Nuclear Infrastructure
Beyond stockpiles, the administration is pressing for the dismantling of nuclear sites. Sites such as Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow are to be eliminated.

3. Long-Term Nuclear Restrictions
Trump will not accept any sunset clauses, and there will be “zero enrichment indefinitely.”
4. Medical Exception Only
The reactor in Tehran will be allowed for low-level enrichment only for purposes related to the medical field.
U.S. demands to Iran in Geneva per WSJ:
— Open Source Intel (@Osint613) February 26, 2026
1. Complete dismantling of nuclear sites – Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan must be destroyed.
2. Transfer of enriched uranium – All existing stockpiles to be handed over to the U.S.
3. Permanent restrictions – No sunset clauses; zero… https://t.co/vJfXrv1bXt pic.twitter.com/kQi17OUucR
5. Some Relief From Sanctions
There is a chance for Iran to receive some relief from sanctions, with additional incentives to follow, if it fully complies with the United States in all areas.
A Critical Crossroads
These demands come as the United States and Iran are meeting in Geneva. As NBC News noted, the discussion is the third attempt at “indirect negotiations.” Vice President JD Vance further stated, “The principle is very simple: Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.”
As tensions mount, this is a time for discernment, prayer and wisdom. The headlines may speak of uranium, missiles and sanctions. But behind it all is a larger truth: the future of nations ultimately rests in the hands of the Lord.
The world is watching. And the hour is serious.
