President Donald Trump has finally addressed the mounting religious persecution of Christians around the globe.
In a post to Truth Social, the president specifically discussed the Christian deaths and persecution taking place in Nigeria.

Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a “COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN” — But that is the least of it. When Christians, or any such group, is slaughtered like is happening in Nigeria (3,100 versus 4,476 Worldwide), something must be done! I am asking Congressman Riley Moore, together with Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations Committee, to immediately look into this matter, and report back to me. The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other Countries. We stand ready, willing, and able to save our Great Christian population around the World!
This comes as the genocide against Christians in Nigeria continues to grow, with a pastor in the country pleading for help from President Trump in the middle of a mass grave of believers.
“Is there any Muslim here? United Nations, I know you’re watching me. American Senate, you are watching what I’m doing…Special Advisor to Trump: Now, please tell Trump to save our lives in Nigeria. They are killing Christians in Nigeria…” he pleaded.
Mass funerals and burned down churches have become part of the norm in Nigeria with people across the Western World wondering why the media refuses to discuss this issue. Rep. Riley Moore (WV) asked for the U.S. State Department to get involved and finally redesignate Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC).
