A deadly shooting at a Seattle church has left a young father dead.
The shooting took place at The Pursuit Seattle Church on Thursday, July 31, 2025, according to King 5 News. The suspect fled in a white Hyundai at the scene. The 28-year-old man who was killed was a member of Pursuit Seattle, and was at the church with his child and wife when the event took place.

At the time of the shooting, a church barbecue was taking place while the young adult service was about to begin. Authorities believe that this was a targeted event.
On X, lead pastor Russell Johnson said that 30 bullets were fired in this incident.
