Hindu activists mobbed a Christian man, shaved his head, then paraded him around on a donkey like Jesus, according to reports.
Bajrang Dal activists cornered Christian Awdhesh Kumar Savita and accused him of forcing Hindus to convert to Christianity.
“I have been practicing Christianity for the last few years. But I have never insisted on converting anybody,” the 35-year-old told police, according to RT.
Despite his denial, the radicals still shaved Savita’s head before forcing him to parade around on a donkey, mocking Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
More than 200 witnessed the torture, according to some reports.
The Bajrang Dal is a militant organization closely linked the Indian VHP party, according to their website. They have been linked to several attacks on Christians.
