In light of the tragic attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, there has been a lot of talk about the appropriate Christian response to the shooting.

Shortly after the attack in Florida, Cothran took to Facebook to share her thoughts.

“My heart is heavy this morning as I think about the unimaginable grief of the families of those killed in a gay Orlando night club. We CONDEMN this cowardly evil attack. ALL SOULS belong to God. We are keeping their heartbroken families in our prayers,” she posted.

CBN News Reporter Charlene Aaron spoke with Cothran about her message of hope and healing for those who are suffering through this tragedy. She also discussed the media coverage and President Obama’s defense of the Islamic faith after the shooting was determined to be a terrorist act.
