Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump’s only child, is “very close” to accepting Jesus as his savior, according to a well-known pastor.

On a recent episode of influencer George Janko’s podcast, Stuart Knechtle, a famous TikToker and the assistant pastor of Grace Community Church in New Canaan, Connecticut, said he had a 12:30 a.m. call with the 19-year-old first son, with whom he discussed his faith.

Knechtle told Janko he felt he was making a good case for Christianity during his call with Barron, but, he admitted, “[A]t the very end, I came up pretty much totally open-handed with nothing. But I brought up dreams and revelations.”

It was the pastor’s last-ditch effort — bringing up testimonies of Muslims who have converted to Christianity after Jesus appeared to them in dreams — that fascinated the president’s son.

“I said, ‘Hey, look, Barron, I usually don’t go by this typically as evidence, but I have a friend over in Africa who witnesses thousands of Muslims coming to Christ through dreams and revelations,’” Knecthle recalled. “‘How do you explain that?’”

The preacher said Barron thought those accounts raised “a very, very interesting point.”

“And that was the only thing that stuck with him,” said Knechtle. “And he’s very close to putting his faith in Christ — very close.”

Knechtle argued there is something appealing to unbelievers about radical conversions through dreams.
