3I/ATLAS has finally reached the next phase in its flight journey across the universe.
In a report by the New York Post, it was noted that this massive comet can now be viewed by those with a telescope. Astronomer Qicheng Zhang took a photo of this space object at the beginning of the month, telling the outlet, “The comet is easily visible with small telescopes now.”

Zhang noted that the visibility of 3I/ATLAS is due the fact that it is “rising early enough in [the] morning twilight.” Right now, the comet appears as a “fuzzy dot” in photos taken of it.
The scientific researcher also discussed how larger telescopes are not usually made for capturing comets, while Zhang used a smaller one “constructed with comet observations in mind.”
In an article by Live Science, Zhang was also quoted saying, “All you need is a clear sky and a very low eastern horizon…It won’t look impressive, it’s just a smudge, but it will be an increasingly visible smudge over the next few days.”

As 3I/ATLAS moves visibly across the heavens, many are looking upward in awe—and some in fear—wondering if this celestial visitor carries a message from beyond our world. For some, the timing of its appearance feels intentional—a call for believers to watch, pray and recognize that God’s hand is never absent, even in the farthest reaches of the universe.
