Now that we’ve hit a new decade, have you taken the time to evaluate whether you’re doing what God has called you to do in 2020? Joyce Meyer says that we need to actively take steps of faith in the direction we want to go if we’re not happy with the life we currently live. Change is only possible if you make goals and actively seek God for what you’re destined to do with your life.
“I was talking to somebody the other day, and he said the biggest majority of people go off to work every day at a job they can’t stand, and you know why most of them do it? Money,” Meyer says. “We need a little more courage. We need to find what God wants us to do and we need to not be satisfied just to live our life doing something we hate. Let God help you find a way to do what you really love.”
Meyer says that the keys to hearing from God as to what you’re created to do are “discernment” and “prudence.”
“You can’t live off what you think; you’ve got to go down deeper,” Meyer says. “… A prudent person will not waste money; they won’t waste time; they won’t waste energy; they won’t waste their talents.”
