John Bevere: ‘Take Up Your Cross’ Does Not Mean ‘Deny Yourself’

John Bevere says many Christians confuse the phrases “take up your cross” and “deny yourself” to mean the same thing, but they do not mean the same thing. Bevere says, “They think ‘deny yourself’ is to ‘deny yourself’, and to ‘take up your cross’ is to ‘deny yourself.’ No, it isn’t. ‘Take up your cross’ means I’m going to live the life infused by Him. OK?” He explains more out of Romans and Galatians in this short teaching.
