The country band Florida Georgia Line invited Christian worship artist Chris Tomlin on stage during a concert to perform “How Great Is Our God.”
The Florida Georgia Line duo Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley invited the crowd to put their hands in the air for the last chorus because “there’s freedom and surrender when you put your hands in the air,” reports popculture.country.
Hubbard told the crowd that “How Great Is Our God” changed his and Kelley’s lives and that the two had sung the song “hundreds and thousands of times in church.”
The worship leader posted about the spontaneous worship session on Instagram, calling Hubbard and Kelley “the real deal.”
Tomlin says he’s “never seen something happen like what went down last night in Atlanta. God’s kingdom is so much bigger than we know and his ways are so much higher than ours.”
The country band, in turn, thanked Tomlin for taking them to church. “Never getting over last night,” the band posted on Instagram. “God is good.”
