One thought on “Why More People Are Talking About the Return of Jesus”
  1. God is Spirit (John 4:24). His Word is Spirit (John 6:36). The Laws of God is Spirit (Romans 7:14). So, when it comes to the Book of Revelation that is the revelation or revealing of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:1), from its “Spiritual” context, it is something that has happened, is happening, and will continue to happen (Revelation 1:8 & Revelation 1:18) if we have the Spiritual eyes to see it – revelation. Because when Elijah was taken up, the Pharisees looked for him to come back down from among the clouds. But Jesus said that Elijah did return but they missed him. Where was he? In the “Spirit” found in John the Baptist. Therefore, Jesus’ return in the flesh will be found in His “Spirit” in “His” body (the Church), which is the hope of His glory (cloud) here on earth when His presence shows up in us and through us. It is for now (Colossians 1:27), that is to be revealed now (Colossians 3:4), as it was when Jesus revealed the Father through Himself then (John 14:9). It’s what Jesus meant when He said “Follow (after) Me.” Who is, was, and will continue to come (Revelation 1:8). And so, the primary issue is we are looking in the natural by reading the text from the natural, when His Word is “Spirit”. Such as the kingdom of God is not to be looked for from the outside, but it is in us (Luke 17:20:21). As the Nations that are divided is also something that is also in us (Genesis 25:23). We are not being brought up to be taken out when Jesus taught us to daily pray the “His kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” That said, Jesus is the Seed, but we keep looking outside of ourselves missing out on who He is inside us as well as inside of others. No different than not realizing that we could very well be entertaining angels who look like regular people, while God is actual in our midst. Jesus’ second coming comes because of our second birth. Too much to share that does not contradict the entire counsel of God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation where Christ Jesus is, was and continues to come as we become more like our risen Savior. God Bless
