Why God Sees You as a Special Treasure

Have you ever considered yourself as a special treasure with many depths of gems to be discovered?

Too many of us allow our circumstances to push down and crush our hopes of becoming all that we were originally designed to be. Growing up in a large family with limited finances had an impact on how I defined my worth, and being a girl in the midst of seven brothers reduced my voice.

Today my voice is strong and sometimes loud because God had a calling upon my life that was greater than my circumstances. Considering myself as a special treasure did not occur until after I was married and accepted Jesus as my Savior. But even then, the depth of what God had for me did not resonate.

Most of us walk through life with limited expectations of where we can go or what we can do. We aspire, but typically, our aspirations are limited by voices of those we consider important or by our circumstances. When God spoke to me about writing a book called Hidden Treasures Within, he forced me to examine new possibilities and ventures. It was through this journey that God guided me to not only discover the amazing gems that already existed within me but also to actually pick them up and put them into action.

I was tired of living a mediocre life. I expressed this to God, and he answered my request. Each chapter in this book is a strategy to use as a tool to help you break out of your confinement into your promised land. Within these strategies are truths to empower you for change.

The ultimate goal is to learn how to fight from a place of victory, a stance that only comes from a deep relationship with the Lord. As you step into this place of victory, everything around you will change. For me, my voice comes through my books, my speaking engagements, my church leadership and my teaching.

God reached down and revealed specific gems that were buried so deep that I never would have considered mine. I crashed through ceilings of insecurity, rejection and hindering situations meant to deter me. Doors opened wide with amazing possibilities and new ventures. God has intentions of doing the same for you!

There are so many gems waiting for you to discover and apply to your life. Take charge of your life and enter into all that God has for you. This is why I called my podcast A New Level Awaits You! It is the theme God has pressed into me. It is a message for advancement, a message of hope and a call from the Lord. Living supernaturally is exciting, fulfilling and packed with great exploits. I have often stated that I cannot go back to routine living. Let me challenge you to say the same thing and step into new frontiers of living supernaturally.

I am currently doing a series of episodes on my podcast, A New Level Awaits You!, on Stepping Into New Beginnings, a book I also published this year. God needs us to first dig out all he has created within us and then step into our assignments. Both of these books are filled with tips to help you get out of the old and into the new God has for you. Get ready to soar! {eoa}
