Carissa Lathrop is adjusting to an empty nest. Her husband of 24 years doesn’t understand her. After she’s laid off, Carissa is left reeling and wonders where God is in all this. When a friend sends her to Hawaii, Carissa plans to simply hide. But soon she feels rejuvenated and is even tempted romantically. Yet, as she turns to God for guidance, she experiences newfound hope for her future.
