Tyler Perry says God is still in the game of answering prayers, if a rainbow post-kneeling is any indication.
In a recent Facebook post, the actor and director shared how God gave him a sign for the year to come.
“On New Year’s Day, I had just finished praying and thanking God for all that He had done for me over all these years,” Perry writes. “I was so full as I came out of the room. I was thanking Him and praying for a great 2016, and then I saw this right off the balcony!!!!”
Perry shared a picture of a rainbow arching over palm trees and crystal-clear water. Biblically, God used the rainbow as a sign for His covenant with Noah (Gen. 9:13).
“My prayer is that God puts a rainbow in your 2016,” Perry writes. “I hope this new year brings you the life you’ve always imagined, and I pray that it carries away any and everything that will try to keep you from it. God bless!!”
