U.S. Representative Trey Gowdy has endorsed Republican Marco Rubio for the 2016 presidential nomination.
Gowdy announced his support for Rubio while campaigning with the freshman senator from Florida in Iowa.
“Marco is a rock solid conservative and a leader we can trust. He is someone we can count on in Washington to stand true to his word,” Gowdy said in an email to Rubio supporters.
