The Exact Moment the Church Chose to Bury Itself

The church can now begin to dig itself out and grow again.

The church chose to bury itself the very moment it allowed the government to grant individual congregations tax-exempt status, author John Shorey says.

“The root problem that we’re in today goes back to when the church was bought off by tax-exempt status,” Shorey says on The Jim Bakker Show.  

The government never had the constitutional right to issue such a status to begin with. By binding the pulpits when it came to politics, the government was able to water down foundational truths that are now largely ignored by many Americans.

But not anymore.
