Season five of “The Chosen” continues to surpass all expectations.
In a moving and heartfelt interview with Charisma Media, Jonathan Roumie, who brings Jesus to life on screen, shared his powerful experience filming some of the most impactful scenes of the season.
This season, often referred to as the “Last Supper” season, dives deep into some of the most intense and emotional moments of Holy Week, including the very first communion.
“I had a lot of spiritual firepower behind me,” Roumie says, reflecting on the weight of the scene.
Roumie believes season five will captivate audiences on an even deeper level than previous seasons.
“Every season, by the grace of God, we’re able to sort of level up the production value. And season five is no exception to that. It’s bigger than season four, It’s more action packed and emotionally driven, and goes deeper than we went even in season four.”
