Texas First Lady Contradicts Rick Perry, Calls Abortion ‘Woman’s Right’

At the 2013 Texas Tribune Festival, first lady Anita Perry talked about abortion, calling it a woman’s right. Her husband, Gov. Rick Perry, is widely known to be pro-life and signed new abortion restrictions into law this summer, banning abortions 20 weeks after fertilization.
