Recently, in a time of corporate prayer, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Raise your expectations for this summer.” I knew this was a word for me, but I also knew it was for the entire body of Christ. I believe this prophetic summer will continue to accelerate what God has been doing already this year. The Lord spoke to me before January of this year about the first 90 days of 2019 being a time of laying and establishing firm foundations that God will be able to build upon for the 21 months that will follow. The first 90 days came to an end, and foundations are secure, so now is the time to build and advance. I believe the Lord is calling us to raise our expectations for what God will do during the upcoming summer months.
I believe that in the next few months, many will hear from God more clearly and with greater accuracy. Many will receive directional words that will shift many into the right position for what God is about to do. I also believe that during this prophetic season, many will receive strategic prophetic insight from the Lord personally but also corporately. Because of the prophetic accuracy coming in this season, I think this will be a summer of advancement.
When we are expecting advancement, we must prepare ourselves for it. The enemy will always try to stop the advancement of the children of God because they advance the kingdom of God. So do not go into this season unaware, expecting it all to just fall perfectly into place. We must be ready for the resistance. We will have to fight for the advancement, but we will win! So I encourage you: Set aside time in this season to fast, pray and seek the Lord as we get ready to advance and see the kingdom of God move forward.
I see the Lord doing so much in America and in the nations of the world. We may not see it on the news or in the media, but souls are being swept into the kingdom, and God is pouring out His Spirit. The kingdom of God is being manifested and taking ground in the earth. I believe this season of prophetic clarity will launch us into the advancement that God is wanting for us to anticipate and prepare for. This summer will be a prophetic summer, and we must be ready to advance! {eoa}
