Passover is about remembering what God has done to set you free from the bondage of sin and renewing your heart and mind with His promises.
Did you know the enemy hates Passover?
He hates to be reminded of the freedom that is found beneath the blood of Yeshua. He hates to be reminded that the Almighty God, who sits on His throne and whose Spirit dwells in our hearts, is in control.
It is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who is our healer, rescuer, Redeemer, Savior and King. The enemy knows it and wants us to forget that God never changes (Mal. 3:6) and cannot lie (Num. 23:19).
It is interesting to me, as Passover approaches, that the devil is attempting to use the spirit of fear to hold the children of God back from experiencing the presence of His blessings and the promises that are released during Passover.
Why is the Enemy Using Fear?
I’ve always said that the devil isn’t after you. Instead, he is after your blessings. Satan knows those who are in covenant relationship with Him through the blood of Yeshua belong to Him. He is capitalizing on this time of the coronavirus pandemic to infect the church with fear.
He sees many in the church growing more influential in their faith, returning to the roots, having more authority and power in the Spirit. He wants to stop the furthering of God’s kingdom, so he is leveraging the coronavirus pandemic and spreading fear and panic.
If the devil can tempt believers into a place of fear and to not call on the blood for protection, provision and authority, he knows that Psalm 91 and 23 become just words they might say, not a belief in their hearts.
Breaking Free From Fear as You Prepare for Passover
As we prepare for Passover, we must come out of agreement with the spirit of fear and into agreement with the Word of God.
Fear and faith cannot coexist. If fear has attached itself to you, it must be cut off so that faith can fill your soul.
The Lord prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies. He anoints your head with oil, and your cup runs over.
The Lord is preparing a table in the coming weeks. He is doing this in the presence of fear and the coronavirus—your enemies. He is faithful to His promise of Psalm 23:5.
Coming into agreement with Psalm 91 and 23 as you prepare for Passover will position you for a release of the blessings listed in Exodus 23:
—Divine protection.
—Divine authority.
—Supernatural health and kingdom prosperity.
—Covenant protection for multiplication and longevity.
—The Lord will drive out your enemies.
—The Lord will give you dominion and an increasing your inheritance.
—Freedom from corrupt covenants.
How to Cancel Fear and Come into Agreement with Psalms 91 and 23
Before we come into agreement to receive the peace and spiritual protection in Psalm 91 and 23, we must understand and proclaim why we are qualified to receive peace and enter into the dwelling place of the Most High God.
What qualifies you? The blood of Yeshua.
But if you are bound by the spirit of fear, you don’t believe that the Lord is your shepherd. You aren’t believing the blood is sufficient for protection. This can become a hindrance to the manifestation of protection.
- Ask God to reveal the fear that is within your soul. Decree that you will no longer be in agreement with it. It will no longer attach itself to you or your family. Declare the blood of Yeshua allows you to walk in freedom to receive peace and breaks the yoke of fear.
- Decree who the Lord is. He is your shepherd. He is the sovereign God who sits on His throne and provides a place of refuge and protection. He is the Almighty God—El Shaddai.
- Enter into a time of meditating and decreeing Psalm 91 and 23. You can download a breakdown of these verses in this FREE resource, Spiritual Protection for Your Health and Wealth.
Passover is quickly approaching. The Lord is calling out to those who are called by His name to step into the position of authority He has given them in Yeshua.
We must remember we are not warring against flesh and blood but with an invisible enemy and powers of darkness.
Therefore, let us move into a time of persistent and intentional prayer, being wise as serpents and gentle as doves as we look forward to the promised deliverance.
Understand Your Passover Blessings
As you study and dig into Psalm 91 and 23, I also encourage you to understand the blessings and prophetic significance of Passover.
The death of Yeshua on the cross and His resurrection three days later form the firm foundation of the Christian faith. Without the blood that was shed for our sinful nature and the promise of everlasting life, a believer’s faith has no merit.
Without the blood, there is no protection and prospering of God’s Word. Let us come together in unity and sit at the Father’s table, wherever we are, and anticipate what the Lord will do.
