The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC/CONELA) announced today that Gov. Mike Huckabee will address attendees at its annual convention to be held in Houston, April 28-30. This follows last week’s announcement that Governor Jeb Bush and U.S. Representative Luis Gutierrez would be guest speakers. Bush and Huckabee will appear on Wednesday, April 29 with Bush speaking during a noon luncheon and Huckabee providing an address at the 6 p.m. Dinner and Awards Presentation. Our hope and goal is to bring attention to the important issues of our day and find ways to work together to find practical and expedient solutions.” The theme of the 2015 convention is, “From Survive to Thrive.” More than 1,000 global Christian leaders are expected to attend. During the convention, NHCLC/CONELA will celebrate its merger, which became official last year, and reveal its new international name. It will also introduce new organizational leadership and launch an innovative Hispanic-focused television network in partnership with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).
