Justin Bieber and model Hailey Baldwin got engaged over the weekend after one month of dating, reports say.
Bieber reportedly popped the question while the couple was vacationing in the Bahamas on Saturday.
Hailey is the daughter of Christian actor Stephen Baldwin, who two years ago posted a video sharing how Jesus changed his life. Last year, he starred in a faith-based film that shed light on the horrors of human trafficking.
The proud father of the future bride posted his congratulations regarding the engagement in a now-deleted tweet:
“Sweet smile on my face! me&wife (Kennya) Always pray 4 Gods will !! He is moving in hearts of JB&HB,” he wrote, according to People. “Let’s all pray for His will to be done Love you 2 so much !!!#Godstiming #bestisyettocome”
Along with his tweet, Baldwin shared on Instagram Ephesians 5:25-27 (NIV), which reads: “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
That post too, though, has since been deleted, People reports.
Bieber’s father, Jeremy, also shared his congratulations on Instagram, saying, “@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for this next chapter!”
