In one of his latest interviews with Francis Foster and Konstantin Kisin, Joe Rogan offered one of his most insightful views on the Christian Church and Jesus Christ.
Stating that he loves going to church, Rogan said, “It’s a bunch of people that are trying to make their lives better. They’re trying to be a better person. And they’re trying for me at least the place where I go to read and analyze passages in the Bible. I’m really interested in what these people were trying to say.”

Beyond liking his experience at Church and hearing about the Scriptures, Rogan also shared that he believes there is something more to Christianity.
“I don’t think it’s nothing,” Rogan said. “There is a lot like atheists and secular people that just like to dismiss Christianity as being foolish, you know, it’s fairy tales. I hear about [it] amongst self-professed intelligent people like it’s a fairytale. I’m like, ‘I don’t know if that’s true.’ I think there is more to it.”
Rogan pointed out the complex history behind the writings of Scripture, noting that we must look at it through the oral traditions and cultural contexts in which it was written. “I think there’s something to what they’re saying. I don’t think it’s nothing.”

He also noted that Christianity has, by and large, spoken to the hearts and minds of people in a way that other religions have not.
“There’s [a] reason why it resonates with people,” he said. “Christianity in particular is most fascinating to me because there’s this one person that everybody agrees existed that somehow or another had the best plan for how human beings should interact with each other and behave and was the best example of it, and even died in a non-violent way, like didn’t even protest, died on the cross supposedly for our sins.”

Right now, Rogan is still wondering what “does it represent though? What was that? Like what happened? Who was Jesus Christ?”
As Rogan continues to open up to Christianity and the truth of the gospel, pray that his heart and mind may be opened to the reality that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
