There are two laws operating in the earth today: the law of sin and death and the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Luke 7:11-17 tells the story of Jesus raising a young man from death to life. Jesus was operating under the law of the Spirit of life found in Himself. (See Rom. 8:2.)
Law can be defined as a rule of conduct or action formally recognized as binding or enforced by a controlling authority. In this case, God is the controlling authority. If you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and have been born again or born of the Spirit, you are now under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.
