Dave Kubal, president and CEO of Intercessors for America, says our nation needs to obliterate the spirit of fear hovering over us right now. One of the unfortunate results of this spirit of fear is ballot harvesting. People are afraid of going to voting booths and can therefore become victims of fraud.
“Ballot harvesting provides the opportunity for somebody to knock on the door and say, ‘Hey, I’d be happy to turn in your presidential ballot,'” Kubal says. “And the people say, ‘Oh, yeah, sure. Great. Here it is.’ I heard this funny phrase, ‘Granny harvesting.’ You know that people can actually go to nursing homes and kind of prey on the elderly who are afraid of going to the polling place because, again, of that spirit of fear that’s over our nation right now. … So there’s all sorts of fraud that enters into the picture.
“I think we can pray specifically for two things. We need to be praying that our election process continues to be decentralized, putting the authority, the integrity, the watch at the lowest levels, closest to the voter as possible. When you decentralize power, and you aggregate power and collect it into the hands of the few, that’s when you’re going to have problems, and so we’ve got to continue to push the election process integrity at the local level. But the other thing is voter verification.”
One of the keys to eradicating fear is prayer—although God can intervene, He also calls us to act, Kubal says on the Greenelines podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network.
“We can certainly expect a sovereign move of God,” Kubal says. “But I think to some degree, He allows us to determine the results of His activity on the face of this earth and within this nation. And our nation, the population of our nation right now, is so gripped by fear. We have got to be praying that the spirit of fear that is over this nation is paralyzed.”
