Prophetic singer-songwriter Linette Penney-Gainham loves to produce music that reveals the heart of God. But she went through a dark time where she felt overlooked and forgotten.
“When you’re not riding the crest of the wave, people forget about you,” Penney-Gainham tells Matt Tommey on “The Thriving Artist” podcast. “One of my teachings is we’re so unique that if we don’t fulfill what God has for us, then no one else can fulfill that. So you create a void. But I fell into the void. And while the world is still turning and other people are carrying on … and instead of it making me happy to see all the prophetic art appear and doing really well, I just realized ‘Wow, I fell by the wayside.'”
