God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. —COLOSSIANS 1:27
The Tabernacle is a perfect picture of the coming of Christ and that He wants to live in you. The glory of God dwelt in the Holy of Holies. The very presence and tangibility of God resided within that holy chamber. Once a year the High Priest entered to sprinkle the blood of animals as an atonement for the sins of the people (Hebrews 9:7).
The Holy of Holies and the Ark of the Covenant itself have been transferred from a shittim-wood box, overlaid with gold. God has engraved those tablets not on tablets of stone, but on the fleshly tablets of your heart.
He has laid deity over your humanity and sent you out into the world as a living, breathing, moving Ark of His covenant! Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, and His anointing reside in you. You are being transformed from glory to glory. “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Jesus, clothe and transform me with Your glory so that
all I do may give glory and honor to Your name. Amen.
