A poll released Monday by Quinnipiac University reveals that strong majorities of voters in three key “swing states” for U.S. presidential elections oppose the Iran nuclear deal. According to the poll, in Florida, 61 percent of voters oppose the Iran deal and 25 percent support it (14 percent are undecided). In Ohio, 58 percent oppose it and 24 percent support it (18 percent undecided). And in Pennsylvania, 61 percent oppose it and 26 percent support it (13 percent undecided). The survey data could be inauspicious news for Iran deal supporter Hillary Clinton, the presumed Democratic nominee in the 2016 presidential race. Earlier this month, a survey conducted by Gallup found that only 33 percent of Americans approve of how President Barack Obama is handling Iran policy, while 55 percent disapprove.
